Hi! I’m a mum of two wonderful children - Reuben, who is 10, and Mabel, who is 18 months. Becoming a mother has shaped so much of who I am, but it was after having Mabel that I really started to look around and ask myself what our area was missing for babies and younger children? I wanted to create something meaningful, something beautiful, and something that parents would feel excited to bring their little ones to. That thought became the spark that started my journey.

I decided to open a baby group that wasn’t just fun and stimulating, but also aesthetically pleasing and calming - a space that felt special. I found the perfect home for it at the gorgeous Barrow Island Community Centre, and from the very first session, I knew we had created something families in the area had been waiting for. It blew up straight away. The support was immediate and overwhelming. From our very first month in September 2024 right up until now, we have continued to thrive, grow, and welcome more families every single week. Watching the group flourish has been one of the most rewarding parts of this entire adventure.

But as things grew, I couldn’t help but wonder: What else is the town missing? That question led me to explore the world of role-play villages, imagination-led play, and the demand for bouncy castle and soft play hire for parties and events. It felt like the natural next step. And from that idea, our Mini & Me Party page was born.

As the vision expanded, so did our age range. I wanted to be able to cater not just for babies and toddlers, but for children up to 7 years old. Now we are proud to offer families a complete, joyful play experience from the very beginning of their little one’s life here at our role play village.
